Comprehensive guide to help you get the most out of Connect360

API Integration

API Authentication

Use Bearer token authentication. Generate API keys from your dashboard under Settings > API Keys. Include the token in the Authorization header: "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY". Tokens expire after 90 days.

Sending Messages via API

Make POST requests to /v1/messages endpoint with recipient phone number (E.164 format), message type, and content. For templates, include template name and parameters. Response includes message ID for tracking.

Webhook Configuration

Configure webhooks to receive real-time updates for message status, incoming messages, and delivery receipts. Webhooks must use HTTPS with valid SSL certificate. Include webhook secret for verification.

Troubleshooting

Message Delivery Issues

Common causes: invalid phone number format (use E.164), template not approved, customer hasn't opted in, rate limits exceeded. Check message status via API or dashboard. Error codes provide specific failure reasons.

Rate Limits

Default limit is 1000 messages per second per phone number. For higher volumes, request tier upgrades. WhatsApp also enforces quality-based rate limits - maintain <5% block rate and high engagement to avoid restrictions.

Error Codes

Common errors: 400 (bad request), 401 (unauthorized), 429 (rate limit), 470 (template not approved), 471 (not opted in). Refer to our API documentation for complete error code reference and resolution steps.
